Tim Myers became a Christian while attending a VBS at age fifteen. He felt called to the ministry at sixteen while reading 2 Timothy. He attended Appalachian Bible College receiving a B. A. with a Bible/Theology major and a minor in Pastoral Ministries, Dallas Theological Seminary receiving a Th. M. with a major in Historical Theology, Wichita State University receiving a M. A. in history and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary graduating with a Th. M. in Practical Theology and a D. Ed. Min.

Tim has taught history at a nearby community college where he lives for thirty-six years and has been a bi-vocational minister for over thirty years as a staff member or pastor.

He enjoys traveling, reading history books, and visiting historical sites.

Tim has been married to Cheryl for forty-seven years and they enjoy traveling together and visiting their two children and six grandchildren.

Russ Harris was saved at the age of 6 and soon after felt a calling on his life to the Music Ministry. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University and Friends University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Arts in Education.

His ministry has been bi-vocational and he has served in several churches over the years as Music Minister, Youth Minister and Associate Pastor.

Russ enjoys singing and leading worship as well as studying from and teaching the Bible.

Russ has been married to Christy for 34 years and together they enjoy taking day trips and spending as much time together as possible. They have 2 grown children and 3 granddaughters.

Josh Harris was saved at a young age in the church his grandfather pastored. He has been working on the technical side of things for many years running sound and supporting his dad’s music ministry in local churches. He is the keeper of hardware and the technical producer of the Underpinned podcast.

He enjoys tinkering with all types of technology to see how things work and to see if broken things can be fixed.

Without his skills and willingness to volunteer, Underpinned would be a lot harder for us to produce.
